Samoco, an expert in industrial assembly, has been experiencing strong growth year after year. As their team expanded, the number of administrative tasks also increased. Initially, to address this, they used a range of separate tools, but the general manager wanted more: a single integrated platform where everything comes together. A challenge we were eager to tackle.
Managing administration with disconnected tools became increasingly time-consuming and error-prone. Manual entry and a lack of real-time insights delayed operations and caused frustration. Samoco needed a central solution that could automate processes, reduce errors, and enhance overall efficiency.
Together with Samoco, we developed SolveIT, a powerful all-in-one cloud platform serving as the central data centre for their operations. SolveIT automatically synchronises with external systems, processes incoming data, and directs them to the appropriate tools, including Geodynamics and Onyx One.
The platform is tailored to Samoco’s workflow and is built around five core modules that streamline their entire administrative flow:
1. Time Registration Module
This intuitive module allows employees and subcontractors to record their hours worked per project. Once approved by a manager, the hours are sent either to payroll (for employees) or purchase order calculations (for subcontractors). Users can choose between a calendar or list view, with powerful filters to find exactly what they need.
2. Geodynamics Integration
SolveIT integrates seamlessly with Geodynamics, ensuring employee, subcontractor, and project data are automatically forwarded, keeping both systems synchronised. When working hours are recorded via Geodynamics time clocks, the data flows back into SolveIT for validation, correction, and further use in payroll or purchase orders. SolveIT remains the single source of truth.
3. Onyx One Integration
Onyx One stores essential subcontractor data, such as documents, IDs, and certificates. This data is automatically synchronised with SolveIT and stored internally, ensuring Samoco has a complete, up-to-date overview in one place.
4. Teams Module
The Teams Module enables Samoco to organise both employees and subcontractors into teams. These teams are integrated into time registration filters, allowing users to maintain a clear overview of specific groups or project crews.
5. Purchase Order Calculation
Based on recorded hours and pre-defined agreements with subcontractors, SolveIT automatically generates purchase orders. Flexible settings allow Samoco to configure billing periods, rates, and exceptions per contractor, all from one central interface.
