Haacht Brewery wanted to introduce its visitors to the rich history and production process of its beers in an innovative way. With a focus on digitization and ease of use, Haacht approached us to develop a digital tour. During their tour, visitors can scan QR codes at certain checkpoints, which lead them to a web page with additional information, images, and background stories. This creates an interactive experience where visitors can learn more about the brewery at their own pace.
The challenge was to create a solution that is intuitive and accessible to a wide audience, without visitors having to download an app. In addition, it was important that the Haacht team could easily customize and manage the content of the tour themselves, for example in the case of temporary events or innovations in the production process.
We developed a mobile web application linked to unique QR codes scattered throughout the tour. Each QR code links to a dynamic web page with text, photos, and other media. Using a management module, the Haacht team can add, change, or delete content themselves. This keeps the tour up to date and flexible, without the need for technical intervention.
Accessible and app-free: We deliberately chose a web application so that visitors do not need to install any additional apps. A simple QR scan is all it takes to access the information.
User-friendly CMS: Haacht has a simple management system that allows them to manage the content themselves, without having to rely on developers.
Responsive and visually appealing: The mobile display is optimized for every device, and the pages contain visually appealing elements that bring the brewery's story to life.
Thanks to this digital tour, Haacht offers its visitors a modern and enriching experience, combining tradition and technology.
