Streetwaves, an innovative start-up, is developing a state-of-the-art charging and storage station for e-bikes, named HAVN. HAVN is designed as a locker, charger, and bike rack all in one, tailored specifically for e-bikes and speed pedelecs. The station is comfortable, ergonomic, and secure, addressing the growing needs of e-bike users. Streetwaves approached us to develop a seamless mobile app to manage the station’s functionality and enhance user experience.
Streetwaves needed a way to allow users to interact easily with the HAVN station while ensuring a smooth, secure, and efficient experience. The challenge was to create a solution that would allow immediate use of the station, offer secure bike access, and provide payment functionality without the friction of installation. The app also needed to maintain high levels of security and user convenience.
We delivered a Progressive Web App (PWA) that allows users to immediately access and operate the HAVN station without needing to install an app. By scanning a QR code at the station, users can unlock it, check their session details, and manage payments seamlessly. The app offers real-time session tracking and automatic payment processing to minimize delays. It also includes a secure authentication system, ensuring only authorized users can unlock and use the station.
Instant Access: We chose a Progressive Web App to ensure users could immediately start using the HAVN stations without installation. By scanning a QR code, users can interact with the station in real-time.
Seamless User Experience: The app provides an intuitive interface for users to track their session duration and costs. When they’re done, they can easily end the session, with automatic payment processing to save time.
Security First: We integrated a secure authentication system via email and personal codes, ensuring only the rightful user could access and operate the station. Payments are processed securely through Mollie, ensuring a safe transaction experience.
The result is a secure, easy-to-use app that enhances the experience of using HAVN stations, making it a practical solution for e-bike owners.
